Depends on the car and the ls engine, but it means bigger tires, bigger brakes, and a different suspension at the very least, possibly new steering rack, axle and gutting the wheel arches to fit the bigger tires and still turn, potentially a full cage and a stereo that is loud enough to drown that fucker out with catbacks if you make a monster. There is more power, and then there is more power than the car was ever meant to handle. YMMV

those are ls engines though just a more available variety, they use the same blocks the heads are interchangeable the only difference is gm thought it would be a better idea to make them iron to use in trucks, they have the high flowing heads, interchangeablity of the ls because they are one and the 6 bolt main caps with skirted blocks
