But we can prove it and we do know the reason.

It just so happens that the proof doesn't support the claimed warming rate and the reason isn't carbon emissions.

trails up in central ontario are flooded to shit that i hard to turn back at this one marshland. it's helping the ice melt even quicker and it's just stagnating in some marshes due to the large amount of residual water.

So, since my jeep is nearing the 180k mark, I was wondering if I should get one of those add-a-leaf things to lift it or just get whole new rear leaf springs. Since the leafs have to come off anyway I figured it would be easier to just get new ones than take the old ones apart. I'm only looking for maybe a 3" lift.

Also check these digits.

>reverse Cruiser out of backyard last night
>engage 4WD Lo because manual and a bitch to do otherwise
>drive into street and park into driveway, make sure to engage it back into Hi when parked before turning off (heard a small clink so assumed it was all good)
>go to drive off for work this morning
>see light for diff lock is still on
>shift between Hi, N, Lo and back to Hi on the manual shifter a few times to no avail
>even try pressing the diff lock button a few times, light still on
>eventually just give up and reverse out of the driveway in Lo, put it into first and car magically goes back into hi with a Clunk after driving in 1st for a few metres

Is this how Lo and Hi shit works or is it something more serious? Used it a bit learning to offroad but never experienced any clunks and the transfer was always seamless. Also pretty sure the diff lock button on the dash is rooted, never seems to activate, only sometimes deactivate.

Get a mechanic to look at it dipshit.
And service your shit regularly. Do it yourself so you get to know your rig.

Do you have a service history? Replace anything that hasnt been changed in a while
stuff like belts, hoses, cv joints and wheel bearings can go snap suddenly so get them looked at or replaced if your serious.

Most of time you can limp yourself home if you have a toolkit and some basic mechanical knowledge and recovery gear - youtube videos are handy.

DDing a manual steering car is a pain in the ass but people did it until the late 60s. Generally speaking, the difficulty of turning the wheel is directly proportionate to how slow you're going. Offroad with your wheel jammed up against a rock, it will be nearly impossible unless you are The Rock

I had a 91 with a manual steering rack. In order to add power steering you'd need a pump (with associated brackets), a new steering rack, a different steering shaft, and a few other things I'm forgetting.

Honestly, manual steering isn't bad. Just gotta put some more muscle Into it ay low speeds (under 2mph)

I'm a filthy poorfag and want to go camping. Can I skip 4x4 and just get a winch? I'm not hardcore at all and am going to stay on manicured trails. Just sorta worried about getting stuck in rain at some point.

4x4 is necessary if you can't afford decent tires. Truthfully I'll take 4x4 and bad tires over open 2wd and exceptional tires.

A heavy come along, tree saver, and a long strap will go a long ways.

High lift jack and a strap will be almost as useful.

Common sense will go the furthest on manicured trails. If you struggled going in and then it rains, don't leave until it dries up.

You can't have city grills ride along in your cuckmobiles if they can't get in. They're not like the fucking mudsluts in the outbacks, unfortunately. But they have their own charm...

I use them as guards for now but rock sliders soon.

Do not recommend.
If it originally had power steering, it was there for a reason. The power steering pump in Murphy went out a few winters ago and I drove it until the weather warmed up enough for me to replace it. To this day I have no idea how I managed (I had to parallel park every day at work)

If you have the common sense and know-how you can get by with bald tires and 2wd. But for a beginner, I would agree you need either good tires or 4x4. Recovery gear, and a partner to pull you out/tow you home is a necessity for a beginner as well.

I have brand new Firestone Destination's on the rear and shitty BFG Longtrails on the front of my 2wd open diff S10. The only times I've gotten stuck were from bottoming out on a soft sand hill, two times on soft sand when from stopping while uphill, and once in a mud pit I really shouldn't have gone through. If you just want to go camping in a 2WD a winch, good tires, and something that can help you get un-stuck if you find yourself somewhere with nothing to winch off of will be good. Sometimes the only way you can make it through something in 2wd is speed so you'll break stuff more often. But you also have less front end parts to break, but on most trucks the front ends on 2WD models are a lot weaker than ones with 4WD.

>dicking around doing a basic tune up on XJ
>see this

I mean, I should be concerned, but it doesn't appear to be actively leaking anywhere. I'm thinking it might have just had a bad valve cover leak at one point or something, because that whole side of the engine is caked with grease. Not losing any coolant either.

Also, should I replace the ignition coil? It's working fine as is, it's just I've already replaced basically everything else (Cap, rotor, plugs, wires)
>>
>>17447535
Replacing the coil can't hurt. As for the oil buildup, leave it. It may only not be leaking because the grime has blocked where the leak was coming from. Run it until you need to have it apart for another reason, then scrub it and watch for leaks.
>>
>>17444902
If those measurements are right, then that mic is like 3/4" x 1".
>>
>>17447535
Just a heads up, I also "wasn't losing any coolant" when my heater core was making steam, but as it turns out it was actually leaking enough to rust through the passenger foot well.
>>
>>17447743
It's smaller then my palm. I'm sure the internets has a more accurate measurement then I did. Mine was just a quick guess

Do you know how a lot of trapfags are formed? They're usually lolicons or dudes who have a large bias towards petite girls, and a lot of them accidentally stumble upon a trap in a doujin, or a nukige, or whatever. Of course, they don't know it's a dude until the time of dicking arrives, and by then they're already invested into that character to the point where they stop caring. It gets normalized for them - after all, it looks, talks, and acts like a girl; it just happens to have a dick. "I'll just pretend I didn't see that penis," they say, as they increasingly become less horrified by the prospect of bopping the weasel. "Oh, that bulge protruding from the panties? It's just a puffy vulva," and so on. And do you know what happens when that reach that H-scene and start pounding the brisket? They cum buckets. Why? Because it's different. It's new. It's a feeling they haven't felt before in the ever-increasing-monotony that is their habitual masturbation; and thus, in an attempt to reproduce that excitement once again, a trapfag is born.

I guarantee you a few people who read Maggot Baits for "fun," or some sense of endurance-testing themselves will likely come out being far less offended by guro than when they first went in. They might even develop a fetish for it.

Previous owner did my entire truck in Rattlecan Bed Liner. Not quite the same but I can give some insight:
Pros:
>Durable, dont have to worry about scratches or marring the paint
>Makes it look like an army truck? Everyone will point this cliche out
Cons:
>If you change your mind on the look, good luck removing it
>Good luck cleaning it. Dirt and grit get trapped in the texture of the paint. A regular sponge will simply disintegrate so you need a heavy duty scrub brush, industrial strength cleaners, and a boat load of elbow grease
>You know that plastic trim they used in the 2000s that would dry out and look like ass? Bed liner does this too. If you want it to look really nice you have to apply that plastic restore crap to the entire truck.

I mean I'm poor so I was gonna use the rattlecan lineX anyway. Just use some palm Sanders and do it in the buddies back yard. I'm not losing sleep over it. I don't need anything fanciful, just rugged and non rust lol.
Not overly worried about folks saying the army thing since there's plenty of actual army trucks driving around here. There's a base right down the street so thats ok.

Im sure a power washer will clean it up well enough. Most of the non pavement action ill be doing, outside of weekend trail rides and occasional mudding on buddies property, will be beach. I can just clean the undercarriage line normal.

In Arizona it's usually Excursions or heavily modified rigs that go for 8k or more. Stock Tahoes, Expeditions and Suburbans are pretty cheap depending on the condition and what not.

You're not very good at scaling are you? In addition to the 7” of flex, long shocks and bump stops add about 10" of droop.
