Europeans are afraid
the real talk is that America is lazy but not in the way it first seems
it is by way of being one of the most resource rich economic first world nation
they have so much accesses to resource that they can afford to be wasteful surface coal and a lack of international trade effectively stunted Americas entry into the industrial world

also the American public tends to punish people who go to an effort to make an advancement in technology beyond what people are comfortable with
it has been called going backward into the future

its kind of wasteful
but that's just something inherent about that
people came to America to be free
part of that is the freedom to do stupid things and be a slave to your desires
no where else in the word so encourages the idea of the ego made metal
