Hey there /o/, did some reading of the sticky, started hunting.
I'm a very broke, unemployed college student who really needs a means of transport for this coming semester, meaning I plan to buy a car with loan money, also meaning I'm looking for the best bang for my buck. Found two potential cars within distance.

which one of these would last longer under proper care? which is more fuel efficient? what are better alternatives for the money? The max I'm willing to go is about 1,000 USD
another possibility

*The Saturn.
Saab parts are expensive.
The firebird is a terrible choice if you want good fuel economy.

>comes to /o/
>sees a comprehensive list detailing reputable car brands and models for reasonable prices
>immediately disregards all of it and settles on some 30 year old swedish piece of shit that literally uses a backwards engine and is made by a company that doesnt even exist anymore
the saturn is probably a better buy but it's still a horrible choice. can't you scrounge up the extra change for a crown vic or something?
