Because the modular is better. its a superior engine and Ford has only made it even better with the latest evolution (Coyote). Every manufacturer uses their best engine in their Halo car. if Ford didn't make V8s that were so much better than what they put in this it wouldn't be a problem. the car they are trying so hard to emulate was made famous partially by its V8 too. if they want to be pregressive and nu-male why not just make a Ecoboost sports car? they could enter that in those gay ass class wins too on top of advertising ecoboost and being progressive.
