Why can't car companies make Hybrids and Electric cars

They have to come off as better than u. So they give them a sleek body for "wow gascucks btfo rite?". Then they hit a tree and die burst into lithium flames

the only ones giving a shit about good styling are tesla but their design choices are definitely polarizing

i'm hoping once VW and porsche hit the scene hard they'll put design as a high priority
