Convince me not to trade in my shitty automatic 2005 chevy cavalier for this thing, /o/. As it stands, I'm really tempted.

My car's in near-perfect shape, and this one that's being offered looks like it's been through the fucking mill. Would I end up dumping a load of money into it? Will most likely replace it in a year or two anyways, so long term reliability isn't a big deal for me.
anything is better than a cavalier

Yeah, you're not wrong.
I reckon I should have a look at the thing and give it a test drive.
>>17402764
a bit more serious but that E30 is fucking thrashed already and that rust isn't really even worth fixing. the 325i are good so long as you do the timing belt on time and take care of cooling system.
I'm willing to bet it has more problems than listed or shown in pics. your call though

Yeah, I might just take the risk. I'm going to look up some common problems and check for those, give it a test ride, and if all looks good, >>17402848
I just want off the automatic 4 cylinder econobox ride.
The e30 is kinda collectible so if end up having problems you can go back to a cavalier.

If anyone with an E30 wants to trade for your cavalier don't just walk away, run.
With that being said that one looks pretty borked.
>not even really worth much in parts
>Verts are definitely not desirable like a coupe or even a sedan
>>17402742
I mean if your Cav is just fine then why should you even?
>Same HP range.
>Heavier because convertible
>V6
>Probably worse gearing without overdrive.

>My car's in near-perfect shape
>the trade is beat to hell
wat do?
