what makes the car sound better?
also, could someone tell me what color this is?
turbo is objectively better
sounds better subjectively

damn impressive tripcode, my dude
>>17402358
turbo sounds better
but twin scroll super chargers have DAT WHINE
>>17402358
depends
supercharger would likely be easier to install but once its in you're stuck at whatever hp unless until you change pullies
turbo requires more plumbing but if your engine can handle it you can more easily crank the boost, it would also be easier to get a computer to let you set 2 maps, 1 for low boost for daily driver and 1 for high boost when you want to race or crash or blow your engine up

>turbo sounds better
lel no
super chargers sound better because there's not a fan blade sitting between the exhaust valves and the tail pipe
Topaz blue
and if you're thinking about doing any kind of FI on a BMW, superchargers work best, and keep the pressure VERY modest. 6-8psi. those engines don't take well to boost, but the results are good nonetheless.

keep it stock. watch it appreciate in value.

this is what ive heard of superchargers on the s54, also that the application is relatively easier..
whats the most i can get out of this car?
>>17402416
i already replaced the airfilter, however i kept OEM in the event i wanted to resell..
Better exhaust is what makes the car sound better. If you want it to also make fun sounds from under the hood, open element air filter.

to clarify, there was absolutely nothing wrong with OEM airfilter. I jsut wanted more power
>>17402430
and fuck my engine, sorry no thanks.
>>17402358
Supercharger for exhaust noise, turbo for turbo noises, because supercharger whine a shit
>>17402358
If you want to get off the line quicker, supercharge. If you want higher top end performance turbo.
