>Spend the last week trying to figure out why my fucking mower engine keeps flooding (like, to the point where I have to remove the spark plug and drain out the gas because it locks the engine up)
>Finally track it down to the governor not moving except barely a little when at full throttle
>Figure the springs have gotten weak, decide to tighten them up and then go order new ones
>Proceed to tighten both springs a bit
>No difference
>Tighten both springs as much as is possible
>Still no difference
What in the actual fuck? I can push on the linkage with my finger and it moves easily, but the tight as fuck springs won't do shit?
Just?????
What the fuck?

Just keep the throttle open lol
You tend to get more (you)s when you don't post a spongebob picture.

Sounds like you shouldn't be tinkering.
Go buy another mower, they're cheap.

Whats wrong with spongebob? Its even from a good early episode.

Same reason people would have made fun of you for liking sponge bob when you were 11 in 6th grade, because he's trying to appear old and mature.
Even though spongebob's firs audience is approaching 30.

just buy a new mover, for the same price, you can buy a new one
If springs are worn out then they've lost their springiness, and tightening them won't do anything. It just stretches them out, doesn't make them snap back any better.
