Awww shit, Kia's arent driving like pig shit anymore.
If priced correct this could shake up the market.
>>17395969
>Kia
naa, i'll just get some random honda
>performance car
>Kia
>>17395969
too bad they still look like pig shit
Is it faster than a Civic?
>>17395987
4.9 0-60
Apparently It can handle the track like the former lead of BMW M group wanted it to.
Seems performance to me.
>>17395993
Faster then Type R in 0-60 and Top speed.
Dont think a ring time has been posted.
>>17395969
>3800lbs
>360hp
>auto trans
>>17396040
So... Same weight and more Horse power then a 440i for almost 20k less.
>>17395991
Not as pigshit as the new Type R.
>>17395969
>Four (4) doors
why do they keep doing this shit
>fucking 2 liters standard
>v6 for "performance"
>Auto only
>>17396040
So it's like the Julia but $60k cheaper?
>>17396267
Sounds like Audi or Mercedes.
>>17395969
I really fucking want this thing to be good.
>>17396267
>Auto only
This has to be a joke, right?
>>17398010
>I want to manually shift my pigfat sports sedan
Said no one ever who actually bought one
>>17396262
More whores
>Crying about no manual
>>17395969
How much is this?
If it's 20k my Veloster will be traded in within a year.
>>17398094
35k up price tag according to the specs and media
>>17398094
Expect 40k+ for the engine/drivetrain combo you actually want.
>>17398104
>>17398112
>$40k
>Kia
Might as well get a CPO 335 or IS350.
What were they thinking?
>>17398053
>buying a 'sports' car
>automatic
>>17398184
Duel-clutch can shift in tenths of a second, faster than you can m8. And a good duel-clutch will rev-match and hold gears in Sport mode.
Duel-clutch is superior technolo/g/y.
>>17398205
It is when it's actually done right (looking at you Hyundai and Ferd)
>>17398205
>muh dual clutch!
>can't even spell it right
Most of the high end guys are going back to slushboxes for smoother shifts. Just learn to drive a manual cuccboi
>>17398256
>dual
But that's wrong you moran.
>>17398118
>comparing new car prices to used car prices
Cheaper than a new IS350 or 335i, that's what they were thinking.
>>17399248
There are no new 335i. Just sayin
>>17399262
330i or 340i then. The point is it's cheaper than its direct rivals, specs-wise.
>>17399280
>people never cross-shop new and used vehicles
They do and the Kia loses every time that happens.
Luckily no Korean cars ever sell for sticker, because people aren't that vested in them. Every Hyundai/ Kia has massive rebates on MSRP.
>>17399280
I think most people would rather buy a 340i with 5k miles than a kia and someone who would buy a new german car isnt going for a kia just because its cheaper.
>>17399328
>>17399333
this
6 months to a year after release you'll see Stingers on dealer lots being sold for $25-30k. It'll eat into Optima sales, but surely Kia already had forseen and planned for this.
This is the Korean strategy for right now. Make a "X" car that compares favorably to the real thing on the spec sheet, but then not in the real world, then give $5-10k rebates and discounts on the price to make up for it.
With a 3+L V6 and twin turbos, this thing must have about another 100hp in tuning potential right?
>>17399381
If you were thinking of buying one new, you don't belong on /o/
Buying new is the suckers game
>people unironically think this trash is going to be """"""""good""""""""
stop being autistic and get a german or japanese car instead
there are literally no excuses
>>17396253
>2910lbs in a hatchback with 316hp is bad
It looks pigshit, but it isn't
>>17401092
lmao look at this loser having a meltdown
>>17395969
>http://www.motortrend.com/cars/kia/stinger/2018/2018-kia-stinger-gt-track-drive-review/
If it doesn't cost $35k or less, it will fail. If they pull an Alfa Googliajulia and price it absurdly to compete with established sports/luxury cars, no one will buy it.
>>17398017
That's basically why I bought mine
>buying a sucky sucky ten dorrah me luv u rong time WMAFmobile
>that interior
>>17396011
It's faster than BMW's entire line-up outside of the $140k M4 GTS. I'm sure this car will be great, but there's no chance it'll be as fast as the Type R on a track.
Ya but the interior can't compete
>>17401586
I quite like the interior.
