6 months to a year after release you'll see Stingers on dealer lots being sold for $25-30k. It'll eat into Optima sales, but surely Kia already had forseen and planned for this.

This is the Korean strategy for right now. Make a "X" car that compares favorably to the real thing on the spec sheet, but then not in the real world, then give $5-10k rebates and discounts on the price to make up for it.

If it doesn't cost $35k or less, it will fail. If they pull an Alfa Googliajulia and price it absurdly to compete with established sports/luxury cars, no one will buy it.
