I have a 1967 C10 that's a base truck. It pretty much has nothing electronic from factory but still rides and drives super comfy. Just lowered it 2 inches and did new shocks around. Drives nicer than my 2002 S10 tbqh.

The guy bought every person in the race a beer and they let him through. The car was also stripped of panels to make it look used.
