What's the car with the least electronics, /o/?
I'm talking minimalist, maybe lights and ignition at most.
Many cars were made with crank start, magneto ignition, and gas headlights.
Probably a model T?

Have you considered not being a luddite?
Steam car
Why, do you feel that you understand mechanics? Electronics are piss easy in comparison.

>go to endurance race w/ any 20yr old luxobarge
>car is too complicated to function, or $0.10 part breaks and is unobtainable
>econoboxes creaming them in laps
>new econoboxes have all of these features
>in 20 years these are the cars you're driving
tech is still a good idea, r-rite?

I have a 1967 C10 that's a base truck. It pretty much has nothing electronic from factory but still rides and drives super comfy. Just lowered it 2 inches and did new shocks around. Drives nicer than my 2002 S10 tbqh.

i know people bend the rules a bit but wouldn't the organizers use their option to buy the car for $500 in this case?

Roh im guessing they levied like a million penalty laps on the guy. You dont show u to lemons with a new car.
Now if they swapped a 12a rotary into it....that would be worthy of lemons

The guy bought every person in the race a beer and they let him through. The car was also stripped of panels to make it look used.
Lemons is shit now and I think I'm going to chump car racing.
