>01 Tundra
>When AC is on, it makes a "gargling" noise
>A/C blows cold
>seems to be unaffected by RPMs
>sound is def not the compressor afaik
what could it be? I've heard people say to bleed the cooling unit, but 01 Tundras don't have bleed valves afaik
thx

Blend doors are a shit

Probably something stuck in the fan

This. Your actuators or doors are bad. Usually what happens is the doors flex too much and the actuator can't reach its correct position, so the motor keeps turning eventually trashing the gears, causing the pop pop pop sound.

I don't think is the blend doors, I get hot AND cold air
it isn't a 'pop' sound, it sounds like water and air mixed in a hose somewhere, a gurgling sound

You'll still get the right temp, just that the actuator keeps going and going. It can sound like a gurgle. Mt IS300 does it and i thought I had air in the heater core. It was the mixer actuator.

Evaporator drain is clogged so evaporator case is full of water. Hit it with some compressed air up the drain tube to clear the clog.
A leaf stuck in the fan.

Liquid refrigerant in the gas side of the system. Check and replace expansion valve and/or evaporator.
Might not be a bad idea to evacuate and then refill system with new refrigerant.
