CEL went off on its own
Ran the codes, and no codes are popping up
Car is running better
ALL I did was change the oil, this should not have anything to do with the CEL code
If you have an american car it can be something stupid, I got it when I didn't twist the gas cap on properly.

Hondas can set a CEL for the VTEC system if the oil gets really bad
alternatively if you have a car built 95 or older, the CEL doesn't have to store any information like 96+ OBD-II does and will only light the CEL if the fault is present right at that moment

you can pop MIL's for oil pressure so yeah, it can have something to do with it.

The code was po340 on a mustang
Looking online it says could be alternator trouble and not cam position sensors etc.
The odd part is why would the CEL go off and now runs better?
As far as oil change and pressure, it wasn't too bad but was time for oil change and 100+ miles after the change CEL is gone?
I still haven't swapped the alternator and these are hard to test since most places don't have mounting brackets, so once it takes a shit I'll swap it or maybe the CEL will come back in 250+ miles?
Anyway, thanks for the responses guys, I'm just glad the light went away and car runs better/more power
I'll keep an eye on it for sure..

It's probably a sensor going out, but it's working enough that the computer got happy again. Scan it when it comes back on.
