Can you be too old to learn to drive well?
I'm 34 now, and while I got and still have my car license from high school, I literally have not once driven a car since: too poor in high school, too poor in university, and have lived mostly abroad in big cities since. I also have my motorbike license and consider myself a pretty expert rider, but piloting a huge barge of a car/truck with shit visibility and no room for manoeuvre, where you sit OFF TO THE FUCKING SIDE, and the steering is only vaguely connected to the wheels, seems too intimidating to try at this point which is why I haven't.
Any tips on how to learn since I'm not going to drop money on classes since I'm already legal? Would a manual present any added difficulty considering I'm already well familiar with the concept from motorcycles?

Nope white Canadian.
But I haven't lived in Canada in years so motorcycles made sense. But I realize not being able to drive a car is something stopping me from moving back to Canada (Canada by transit in the Winter is suffering).
