This is what I apparently need to do once my car is at 30,000km, which is what it is at right now.
Am I able to service my car myself, or should I take it to a mechanic to do it?
I have literally never worked on a car before.

it's only 30K's, just double check everything is fine. I doubt you'd have a major issue so early on.

That's good.
Oh but I forgot to mention, the car is 18 years old.

Those are pretty much all the jobs you get taught the first year of learning mechanics
t. some guy that will finish my first year of learning mechanics tomorrow
It literally says to change the oil and look at everything else.

Yeah but the thing is I'm not 100% sure on what the stuff is supposed to look like, and whether it's in good shape or not.
Do I just look for stuff like rust or cracks?

You spent a year learning how to do an oil change?

look at the things made of rubber for rot or cracks, check places that need grease have them, top off fluids. shake some parts around that look like they aren't held in properly to see if they shift around.
