Would a Supra be a reliable DD, or am I just a faggot that needs to grow up?
I've never driven one before but I'd like to own one eventually. I also can't afford the twin turbo (yet). Is the NA supra more reliable than the TT or does it make no difference?
>wanting a supra that isn't boosted off its nuts
It's not a car for daily driving, no.

Have fun with that 200hp and 3800lbs. If you can't afford a TT you probably can't afford any 'Pra.

They're both reliable. The 2JZ-GTE is in the Aristos as well and is hard pressed to fail hard.

Check those supra/toyota forums. Probably some videos discussing on youtube. DD wise, have one local who uses it as a daily most of the year.

Don't mod it like crazy and it will be. Even the turbo model is reliable stock considering how little boost it runs.
You will have to replace bushings and other rubber in the car though. These things are getting old.

can you explain why cars weigh so much now? i saw a 2014 camero ss was more than 4500 lbs

More weight means it is harder to stop in a crash which is more safe than a lightweight vehicle that will stop immediately but leave the passengers dealing with all that momentum in a now stationary object.
Yeah, it's dumb but that's pretty much why.

90 airbags
9000 way adjustable heated/cooled seats
45 speakers
300lbs of sound deadening
massive brakes, wheels and tires.

No. It's 3908 LBS, unless they added armor or some shit to it
