If it will be your only means of transportation I mean go for it if you are desperate but I'd personally wait and save up for something better, which hardly exists in your current price range i'd assume, so my real advice would be to make more money and afford a better lifestyle. Great starter car. Simple af and pretty reliable for an American car. Not much of an aftermarket for modding, but it'll scoot around real nice. Might even hang around with the Mustangs and Camaros if you put a good set of tires on em.

These had like 190hp stock, and has a very wide and smooth powerband that would really run strong on highway pulls with the manual trans. It helps that they are fairly light.

That being said, these cars were originally bought by "buy Murrican" domestic morons for their. Prob wife, who after 5-6 years of ownership gave it to their even more moronic younger sister or niece, who wasn't married to some overpaid Union slob, and drive jalopies and live in trailer parks. Then their slutty trailer daughter gets the car. The entire time, it's being serviced by shade tree moron mechanics that think far too highly of their automotive repair skills.
