I guess. I was in a bad accident when I was 17, flipped the car on an icy road. Funny because I've had to make pretty far trips alone a few years back and I didn't have much trouble. It's only recently that this anxiety set in.

Are you focusing on the road right in front of you, or looking further down at where you will be? I had a gf who would drive hella slow and always feel like she's going to fast, because she would fixate on the road a few feet in front of the car only.

I generally look ahead. Country roads don't bother me (t. flyover) and I can drive them with little stress. Going over bridges and minimum speed expressways freak me out though.

fuck i didn't even have anxiety for anything other than cops after my then 16 year old self got my car crushed and license revoked till 21 for doing 115 through a city while street racing.

still drove anyway because fug da bolice etc
