Should I buy a Miata, an RX-8, or not bother hauling it the 2000 miles home?

do you want to look like a fag, do you want to have a bomb for an engine, or not bother?
>car that is fun to drive, light weight, and has parts widely available almost everywhere to the point you could probably rebuild it in an autozone parking lot
vs
>car that is fun to drive, looks ok, but is known for unreliable engine
Buying a classic red 2001 tonight boys, get hype.
Both are awful options but if I had to choose one,get a Miata.
BEST option though is to not get a Mazda. Buy a Civic, a 2017 86,a BRZ or a WRX. Way better milage and way better specs and hell the Civic even fucking costs less and looks nicer.

>Get a civic
>Instead of an mx-5
why are these even cars you would compare.

>don't buy a RWD fun car, buy a shitbox

I have an rx8, it's a blast to drive but it does have a high upkeep. Premium fuel, bad mpg, 3k oil changes, 20k fluid and spark plug change, and you need to watch starting and stopping quickly. You can flood the engine very easily.

Driving an rx8 2000 miles sounds like a genius idea

Get the Miata op
>More parts
>Convertible
Driving down a dark, woodsy road with the top down and with the moon glaring into my car is the most beautiful thing I've experienced.
