also op, 6 is a bit much even for a 96. I am very surprised the rear window works though. I have a 92 eddie bauer ed and the rear window is a problem on ALL of them. It's pretty rare in my experience to buy one that has a working rear window. Either way, 6 is too much

Different blocks (351 has taller deck height)
Different intake manifolds (wider to compensate for the increased distance between top of cylinders due to the taller deck height)
Different rotating assembly
Different pushrods
Different distributor (due to aforementioned height)

289/302/351w/351m/351c/400m is a 28oz offset harmonic balancer and flywheel/flexplate.
5.0 is a 50oz offset.

There is no shortage of parts for either.
Its one of the most popular engines to modify.
There's literally 40+ different intake manifold options for either.
