I mean I dont know how to drive manual and I'm scared of it
on the manual side theres a
98 volvo s70
95 nissan altima
94 tercel
>>
>>17266940
Stick with any of the Toyota or Honda. Even though the Acura is Honda it's gonna have more little shit prone to break because it's a luxury car
>>
>>17266940
t. autotragic driver
Even I enjoy driving my car pretty much, gotta say 90s auto transmission was kind of shit. they're all sub $1k anyway, why not getting a manual one and learn to drive stick on it?
>bad traffic
get the camry anon.
>>
>>17267028
the camry is $750 and has the most information on it in the store, clean interior and exterior, replaced parts list, etc.

Problem with is it that the water pump seal has a small leak

legend is $890
accord add is in spanish
protege is a protege

>>17267026
I thought acuras were supposed to be pretty cream of the crop, thats just what i've heard from people when I ask
>>
Protege is nice but from rust era Mazda. Check for rust, if gud buy
>>
>>17267046
>honda & acura: bad auto transmission
>mazda: rust
camry is the only one worth getting if you can fix the leak. If you can't fix it by yourself/don't know anything about mechanic, keep waiting anon
>>
>>17267062

Are honda transmissions of that era so bad? What makes an auto transmission a bad auto transmission?

I know how to fix that leak, Ill just put tape over it
>>
>>17267091
It has no filter and nobody changes the fluid, with the more powerful engines they overheat and cook the fluid when driven hard. Clutch packs get worn and that's it, it slips.

Basically nobody maintained them because Honda.
>>
I'd go for the legend simply because it was the rappers choice of car back in the day
>>
>>17266940
try to find yourself a corolla anon

nigga get a 1990 camry, i just bought an '89 LE with the 2vz-fe and it is such a mememobile
>20mpg if you're lucky
>easier to work on than it looks
>dat acceleration tho

or get the s70, but they somewhat advanced for beginning2wrench
reliable as manuals, and super good at killing deer
>captcha: select the v70

Get the Legend... especially if it happens to be coupe. If not.. just check the gas filter and all that. The day my dad sold off his, the car had a constant scent of gasoline, and the suspension was a mess. He wanted a G for it, and I passed. I regret it now, because it still was a great car to drive around.

Whats the average cost to get leather seats redone in any 2000+ year old car....anyone?

>doesn't want to hear the truth
maybe pick up a fucking phone and call an upholsterer in your area
he gonna say the same thing
>expect to buy at least 100 sq.ft of leather per upholstered bucket seat
>~300 sq.ft for a bench seat

What if I get a honda in manual ?
>>
>>17272069
Manuals Hondas are solid. The weaker the engine the more reliable it is more or less.
>>
my first car was a legend it is a great car I think you should get one. That is the car I learned to wrench on
