Funny you ask.
There's a turbo version of the same engine, used in many modern Renaults and Dacias, that puts out about 100hp. With bigger injectors, a new exhaust manifold, and a bigger turbo this can be bumped up to ~150-170hp. Add forged internals and you can break the 200hp barrier.

I fully intend to swap one into a first gen Twingo someday.
