I have an EcoBoob engine and want to avoid carbon build-up. What is the best oil to use to prevent that? Is a low NOACK rating good?

should've gotten a civic for 3k.

Use a good synthetic and consider a catch can.
James, fuck off with your shit car and succulent voice.

This, don't buy just any catch can you want one with a brass filter like the mishimoto one.

This good?

>inb4 catch can
catch cans dont catch everything. you will get build up no matter what. you will have to use a cleaner at some point. i use pic related every before my oil changes. i was getting misfire codes caused by buildup. two cans of this shit and i stopped getting codes and the engine ran much...MUCH...better. i did wait till 100k miles before using a cleaner so that might be why it ran better.

thats my engine
this is pic related

How do I use this? I don't want pieces of carbon flying into my turbo and causing damage
>>17238328
spray it through the intake after the turbo, ideally as close to the throttle body as possible. seafoam makes a spray that is actually better at doing this. it doesnt break chunks off...it basically dissolves carbon off.

Why not just a can of Seafoam?

they both do pretty much the same thing. i just dont like how seafoam smokes.

Why not give it a italian tuneup?
Just drive it about 1 hour at top speed and every bit of carbon will be burned.
If that doesn´t help: SLOWLY spray water in the intake manifold

A catch-can is what knowledgeable people use to significantly reduce the rate of carbon build up.
