Hey I might be overthinking this but I might be sleeping in a van for one evening and I am concerned with oxygen supply or carbon dioxide build up. Is it paramount that I leave a window open or something or will I be fine?
Jesus Christ does rhis belong in the stupid question thread, but as long as you're not in an enclosed space and the engine isn't RUNNING while you're sleeping you'll be fine. Crack a window if you're a paranoid idiot though, which...

before you go to sleep put a plastic bag over your head, then a rubber band around your neck. this should help you with your problems.
I keep a 50L tank of O2 in my camper, and an air exchanger that I installed myself.
Its annoying to sleep with nasal prongs in, but it beats suffocating.

They don't have a floor or couch you can sleep on?
You'll be fine, cars aren't sealed anyway. If you're so worried, crack a window open a little way.
Also? TURN OFF THE ALARM BEFORE YOU STOP THE ENGINE.
I tried sleeping in my car once, and the alarm kept going off. Then I discovered it was too small to be comfortable in anyway, so gave up and slept on a patch of floor instead.
