Depends where you test, but a lot of places were forced to start handing out licenses because "muh racism" claims about 10 years ago. Places like Markham, Richmond Hill, and King City had abysmal failure rates (because of all the fucking asians), and subtle accusations of racism burrowed into the Ministry of Transportation. Ontario is a Queen of Cuck provinces, and so they buckled to these threats/demands/arbitrary accusations by telling the examiners to be more lenient.

I'm white and took my test in a rural area, and the examiner was a fucking nazi. I even took the test with a 5 speed Mazda3, and he tried to complain about the most minute things.

Having to choose different times of the day, different amounts of hours/minutes driven, as well as how many kilometers driven all while making sure it looks realistic can get fucking annoying. You also have to fill out the type of weather you were driving in, whether it was day or night driving, and what kind of road you were driving on (main road, highway, gravel, etc.)
