I am aware that new CRX would be turd.
Its main point was its nimbleness, and that today is impossible.
Safety retards and emmisions obstruct the CRX otherwise it would be made and would sell like hotcakes.
It is impossible to get to 1.6 Engine to meet the tax payers desire to pay less, because it would be too weak of an engine for the inevitable 2800 pound CRX.
So okay, lets give it a stronger engine with 180-220 HP. Too bad! Its still fat and misses the point.

NSX was destroyed by the modern world too. It tried too hard to appeal to normies. Dropping an accord engine in didn't make me piss my panties either.

Also the GTR is a definitely not as fun to drive as much as R32-34 skyline would be.
But I do not mind it not being fun and just being a track beast.
What I could see is Nissan coming back again with a great sports car 2 seater that is Z.
Aspiring to be classy and powerful beast, that could become a rival to the new Supra.
Thats what I would like for it to become, but it would obviously clash with the market for GTR the same mistake that killed Nissan (along with SX series and Silvias) and made them go hand in hand with Renault.

The killer app for the MR-S is a K20. There's been a lot of development into that swap and you can now largely retain your creature comforts while having 220hp. Add about a gorillion dollars and you can have this:

Doubtful. The dirty little secret is that the MR-S chassis is a bit shit (not nearly stiff enough). The S660 is a smaller and a better looking car. Also the ZZW30 platform is now 12 years old at best and mine specifically is 17 years old.

Exactly. And the MR-S was a shitty seller because the price was too much to ask for what was essentially a single-purpose car. As I'm sure you know it ain't no grocery getter. You can't even fit a goddamn case of beer in it. So it was too soft and slow to be a track day racer like the Elise, but too expensive and impractical to be a good fuck around car for the everyman.

It's a fun car, and she's a looker. I would be suicidal to track it. Finding parts can be a major pain in the ass.

Only easy turbo upgrade for me is a TD05-14G. Bolt in wise, its the only one. If I want a TD05h-16G, I have to modify things like my downpipe.

You know, if you want that you can get a literal gokart and it'll be better at being a small MR track putter in every way possible

you could probably plate it ten times easier in some US states, no crash safety standard shit for honda to meet before importing because it's a domestically assembled kit vehicle
Easier to maintain because no superflous bodywork
