Cars do need valve adjustments.
Some do, but riding style, weight of the rider, etc. has a much larger effect on the handling of the bike so you need more adjustment from person to person, while a car that weighs 3000lbs and isn't really set up for performance doesn't really leave people feeling like there's not enough rebound damping or anything like that, if it goes down the road and a wheel doesn't fall off it's good to go. Serious performance cars have adjustable dampers.

Motorcycles run at stupidly high RPM and are smaller therefore more suseptible to valvetrain failure and wear.

Motorbikes tend to be performance machines where every gram counts, and are generally used by enthusiasts who know to maintain their shit.
Cars are appliances, designed to get normies from a to b and be replaced every three years.
