eastern Europe fag reporting.
Looking to buy a used car between 3000-6000 euros, that is reliable.
The Alfa romeo 159 looks great:
>1.9l
>diesel
>sportswagon
>mechanical transmission
>looks stuning
Looks amazing and is not that expensive to repair and maintain (as Alfas' are know for breaking down but I've read that this car is an exception after the 156)
I am open to suggestion for other great car as daily drivers.

Dont. Alfa diesel engines are notoriously terrible. Get a petrol powered model.
Alfa
Hahahahaga
>>17198336
I'd suggest a 3 litre diesel Audi A4 as a similar alternative
>>17198336
Benz CLC
>>17198336
>1.9 liter
>FWD
It's an Alfa aka a cuckbox.
>>17198361
I've read-up alot in my local alfa club forum that the petrol engines for the 159 are really bad, the 1.9l, 2.0l and the 2.4l diesels a great.
>>17198393
wont the 3l engine be super uneconomical? Plus it's an AUDI, and they are for beige people.
>>17198361
That 1.9 block is one of the most reliable diesel engines ever made.
Get the fuck out of /o/ and go read something, you uncultured swine.
>suggesting Alfa, or Audi
Get a generic 1.9tdi Golf, they are cheap and parts are plenty. Or if you think VW is for low class scum, get a 1.9 Audi instead.
>>17198436
I guess it will consume slightly more fuel, but it shouldn't be that bad.
I'm guessing you just don't like the looks of it or something if you're starting to talk about beige people. Well, that's to bad, just keep in mind that you're missing out. It's pretty quick compared to a 1.9 Alfa
>>17198393
>vag
>v6
>diesel
You can only choose 2

>>17198361
wasn't there a JTD available in this? those engines are bombproof and chug about happily in every shagged multipla i see
>>17198511
>because a non-italian 4 banger sounds that better
Please.
>>17198524
Every diesel is a JTD.
The 1.9 was later replaced by the 2.0, the 2.4 was always sold since the model's inception.
I assume the one you're referring to is the 1.9.
Those engines are indeed bombproof.
The 1.8, 1.9 and 2.2 Petrol engines should be avoided since they are GM crap. The 3.2 V6 is also based on a GM block.
The only true Alfa Romeo petrol engine used in the 159 is the 1.75 TBi.
>>17198460
This, 1.9 TDI or GTFO.
Petrol V6 (2.4, 2.6 or 2.8) is pretty solid too.
>>17198336
>diesel
don't buy a diesel alfa romeo. Do you hate fun?
>>17198726
I value fun and efficiency.
>>17198726
>diesel can't be fun
>>17199106
>fwd 1.3 diesel 4 door cuckbox can't be fun
pretty much
>>17199123
>hurr diesel
That's a lot of talk for someone who takes a bus, that runs on diesel.
