completely new car companies that aren't super high en boutique cars, are incredibly capital intensive.

just look at how much Tesla has struggled. they only got where they are with very generous amounts of government help. loans, old Gm production facilities, tax credits, etc.

you just can't slap a bunch of batteries and electroincs from china together and claim you have a car.
