Which country has the best police car?
Hard mode: No one off Veyrons or R8s
Pizzaland.
holden a shit
>>17185386
Ford more your speed?
>>17185397
Would prefer if ford rehashed the rspec with the F6 again rather than the gt-p, that being the gt-f is a unicorn on the roads.
>>17185372
Italy
The British government will take another decade to decide when to use these
>>17185807
NSW police tested them and cooked the transmission, they're shit and can't even keep up with the durability of a Falcon or Commodore
>>17185380
>both criminal and police break down during chase
>all according to plan
>>17185380
>>17185799
This
>>17185870
Alfa Romeo and Italian police forces have a strong relationship, since forever.
Honestly probably America. The p71 is probably the most iconic. It's imposing and fast. It's the car you picture when you think of police cars.
And they've also got chargers and those new fast caprice things too
>not wanting to get into a high speed chase with a Lexus hybrid in Straya
Because you might win.
>>17185930
>the car you picture when you think of police cars.
no lmao
>>17185943
Ok. What car do you think of
>>17185951
>>17185964
Haha Lamo
>>17185951
>>17185964
>ywn be chased by one of these as you play Original Nuttah through your Saxo's boom box in the boot
The netherlands back in the day, now they drive shitty VW tourans
>>17186369
The way police was spelled on that police car reminded me of those god-awefull polite jackets
>Hurr durr I look like police man durr
>>17185930
>imposing
Sure, especially nowadays where there just aren't cars that look like that anymore- the era of square bodies and long hoods/trunks is long over, and Tauruses look like weenies in comparison.
>fast
[laughter]
>>17185930
>P71
>fast
Also the caprices literally had to be imported from Holden
The GDR """had""" pretty nice police cars...I love the green and white livery.
burger land we have decommed military vehicles that police departments pick up.
japan.
nothing beats a 600cc stock k-car for a highway chase.
>>17185836
no the engine overheated within 5 minutes of starting a chase
that shit was hilarious
>>17189128
>k-car
Kei car. K-cars are a totally different type of vehicle (which were similarly used as police cars, but halfway across the world from where kei cars exist).
>>17185930
>and those new fast caprice things
t. Australians
>>17189156
>Kei car, K-car, or kei jidōsha
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kei_car
I wasn't aware of the chrysler shitbox desu.

Mustang absolutely BTFO'd
In Canada we have chargers
The only thing here that can take a curb at speed is a P71, dumb cuck lowered muscle sports car or Lexus shit can't do that, or idle forever like actual police do.
High speed chases with cars aren't a thing post invention of the radio and helicopter, so speed is irrelevant. Durability and cheap is the only thing that makes sense. Throwing lights on ANYTHING not destined to be a fleet vehicle is the stupidest thing I've seen.
drove one of these when we were thinking about a new chiefs car
cost wayyyy too much for a police car but it hauls ass. steering was kinda dead, but still fun. once my impala gives out, i'll probably buy one, or one of those taurus interceptors with awd and twin turbo ecomemes
>>17189167
>I wasn't aware of the chrysler shitbox desu.
Oh. That's okay. The K-cars pretty much singlehandedly saved Chrysler from bankruptcy, but even here in the 'states they're almost totally forgotten about other than as "that beige, boxy thing my friend/mom/sister had."
>>17189226
I always heard that the box had gone into limp mode, still hilarious though.
>>17189641
>Holden VE Calais
Have fun with the interior falling to pieces.
>>17185930
>p71
>fast
kek my 19 year old BMW 328i would outrun one easily
>>17185951
Holden Commadoors
Because, 4-Chan isnt just in America...
Best car coming through
AU shits out of my waaaaaaaaaay!
>mfw my vx calais still has police mode
>>17189751
ackchyually its a WM Stato, get you shit right son
>>17185930
>It's the car you picture when you think of police cars
Are americans really this insular?
yes
>>17190505
M8 not my fault the front end of the range topper is the same as the mid tier shitbox
We only have these
>>17190737
And these
>>17185372
>>17185397
It's disappointing that they're not going to have these anymore. Queensland are moving to a complete fleet of Hyundais and Kias after the remaining Commodores and Falcons are sold off, and NSW are looking at Euro cars to replace the Highway Patrol vehicles, while they use Camrys and Hyundais for general duty vehicles.
A shame that the Aussie cop car will no longer be a thing.
>>17189050
nice police militarization
Stay obedient
>>17185799
They only have 2 of them, retard
>>17190890
2 QV retard, they planned for more lesser versions.
For highway use they mostly have Škoda Octavia VRS' and VW Golf wagons.
For regular traffic the cars range from Renault Clios to old Škoda Octavia wagons.
They also have a few stealthy VW Passat TSI that look just like regular cars and are pulling people off the highway.

We do...at least until our last car factory closes this year..https://www.google.com.au/amp/s/amp.news.com.au/technology/innovation/motoring/dick-johnson-tunes-a-ford-falcon-gtf-australias-most-powerful-police-car/news-story/14f146cfaf5f07d82093c6b7c95e8561

Falcons already stopped and that gt-f is already being auctioned off I'm pretty sure.
