here's the thing - if your financing this vehicle you will have to have full insurance for the duration of the loan - and should keep it if you drive it daily.

Trucks are expensive, just a notch below sports cars. I quoted a same year vette as my truck w/ my current gecko - $10/mo more than the truck. I'm not sure if florida taxes goes by weight or what but I've always paid a lot for tag registration tax, recently it dropped dramatically, something something bill older vehicles pay less.

yeah trucks are made to haul/tow so when they are empty or <700lbs on them they perform well. Lots of aftermarket for both...actually a lot of the same.
