Last night I drove over a loose reflector and it kicked up hitting the bottom part of my door and cutting right through to the bare metal causing a nice dent and serious scrape.
It was on a state road and I stopped to grab it this morning. Is there anything I can do or am I shit out of luck and have to pay out of pocket for a new door + paint?

Could have been a lot worse honestly but still pissed about it.

It's called insurance, also, stop being a tween, you don't need to caption your photos.

>Go through insurance
>They raise my rates for 4 years or so
>End up paying 10x more in the long run instead of just right out of pocket now

And he's trying to imply someone's correct suggestion is stupid. Holy shit too bad that metal didn't pop up and kill OP, would have been one less tard out there.
Maybe file a claim with the state or county. Whoever maintains that road. Gotta be a bitch to get that money sometimes
>your loose reflector fucked up my car! I demand damage repayment.

>housewives manage to score billions by pouring hot coffee on themselves
>anon who has been legitimately damaged by state carelessness does not have a case
sure thing, bud

Damn that escalated quickly, seriously though most insurance companies increase your rates even over a small claim though so I was informing the little anon. Also it would of had to fly up through the floorboard and imbed itself in my stomach to kill me.
