Its an amber filter over lights that have two-tone diodes that do either amber or white. I was looking for just plain amber led lights but couldnt find any except cheap chink bars that do both.

I just bought one of these remote relay hubs off amazon. http://a.co/53UxRQX You can find them on banggood or some other /g/ chink-shit-general thread also. Basically, everything is on the same ground, so I just hid the relay box behind the switch control panel and ran each of the 12v outputs from the relay hub to the same pin as the switch would normally be using to power the lightbars relay. I just tied it into the switchboard outputs because it was the cleanest solution. My battery is always connected because of how GM decided to wire the truck up which is convenient but also sometimes risky cause there's always a trickle of a few mA somewhere.

My remote relay hub came fucked up and was missing connections from the common pins of each of the relays to the ground so I had to fix it myself. Also, theres 3 pins sticking up from the board and you use an included jumper to jump two pins together to change the relay modes. theres momentary, on/off (which is what I use) and all on/all off at once iirc.

I just have this thing laying around since they gave it to me for free when I bought some ammo from Cabelas. It feels god awful due to the low friction on the surface. And since the Land Cruiser requires an assload of arm strength (compared to other vehicles, of course) to turn the wheel, it's a pain to parallel park it even with power steering.

Built XJs / TJs in or around GTA are $7500 running 33s. I saw a TJ on 37s the other day for $6000. It was bring orange so that was a big nope, unfortunately.

I hear Texas peeps have bad pricing in terms of offroaders where XJs cost like minimum $8000. That's a shame. However, if you do get an innawoods / innadesert offroading machine, you could do IFS because of the hill jumping. So these could be "cheap" options for light - moderate offroading: Explorer (V8 obligatory), 4Runner (V6 or I4 turbodiesel), Tacoma, Frontier, Ranger, or Xterra

Try and find one that is pre-lifted if possible. that'll save you money and unnecessary hassle. It may seem like fun to mod it yourself. Though it is, a prelifted one is just more practical.

I picked up my third WJ today and sold the fourth one without ever even driving it (I got them as a pair). I was told it was Quadra-trac but it turns out it's actually Quadra-drive which is cool. it has mechanical LSD front and rear. and this thing actually runs and drives hands down the smoothest of all of the 8 WJs I've owned. however the "slight" rocker rust is actually pretty bad. so once I get home on Tuesday I'm gonna order the Spadano rock sliders ASAP so I can get the cancer cut out because aside from that the body is pretty clean. Is extra droop worth it on an Ifs?
I'm thinking about longer shocks for the front of my truck, which will give me more droop.
Currently I have about 3-4 inches, which is not enough, it fully extends on speed humps.
I can reasonably get 2 more inches, but either a custom upper control arm or maybe a different ball joint can make it go a lot further, but I'd have to lower the differential after a while.
It's torsion bar, so I don't have to worry about spring retention too much.

Guessing its a chevy 1500? Tortion key crank lift is only worth it if you need to clear tires and you invest in nice shocks. It hardens up the front pretty stiff, and wears the fuck outta your ball joints, idler arm, and pitman arm, and it puts you at a bad CV angle. Also, you might max out your camber just trying to get it aligned. I maxed out my droop so far that my UCA's are basically resting on their stops which is nearly unbearable because thers no downtravel, but its the only way to fit tires. I put longer bilstein shocks on.

I'm trying to do a full coilover conversion and diff drop with a new set of ball joints, UCA's, CV's, and some remote res shocks. Save your money and do it right the first time. You and your rig will thank me. Atomic suspension makes a coilover conversion kit for chevy/gmc if thats your vehicle.

It's really not any rougher then stock, it just bottoms out easily.
I'm not looking to change ride height higher, just let it droop out more when I go over a rock, or jump or so.

Honestly if it's already up 3" and you want more droop you're really going to want new UCA's, new ball joints, and might want to consider that diff drop. I don't know much about your front suspension geometry but I'd imagine your CV angle if its anything like my 2" front lift is less than optimal already, and more droop is really gonna fuck with that. The thing is about suspension geometry is its non-linear in the stress and wear on supporting parts. Then again, you'll never hit those crazy angles unless you're dropped out which will only be momentary but it can add up I suppose. Idk nigger if I were you I would consider a more permanent and well engineered solution.

The cv angle actually isn't bad, and it's lasted longer then the fucking stub shafts. I didn't really think there is a bad angle for cv joints though? Just as long as they don't bind or get too crazy.
