Lazy instructors play youtube videos in class as the main visual teaching tool. The instructor should be the one teaching the course, not other people. You paid money for that instructor and he is cheaping out due to laziness. If anything, the instructor posts the short youtube URL on the board or website and saves valuable class time for real lectures as well as feedback on problems people have with homework.

It's trade school they're in there for 8 hours 5 days a week not the same as being in university and only getting a couple 1 hour lectures for each class per week.

OP here. Sucks ass that the schedule is pretty much high school again but it'll be nice to graduate 2.5 years before all my friends.
