What car is this?
It's concept art by Simon Stålenhag. I've read that he uses 1970's cars in his art, mainly from swedish and german manufacturers.
I've been looking for ages but nothing looks quite like this car, especially the rear lights which don't extend over the side of the car unlike all the cars I seem to find.
Buick Regal?

Thanks, looks very similar but the rear lights and the side mirrors don't really match. Could be that the artist kinda made his own version ofcourse

He does, but that's for the European art. He does a lot of pieces set in the 'states, too, often starring various large land yachts as the centerpiece- Caprice and Crown Victoria police cruisers, wood-paneled family wagons, Lincoln and Chrysler road-warrior carryalls, etc- along with various other period cars (90's at the absolute newest) and usually they're instantly recognizable. It's throwing me for a loop that I can't figure out what this is, my first thought was a box body Panther but the tail end doesn't quite match the CV or Marquis and the Town Car is totally different. Next thought was a G-body like >>17129041 said but again, the lights are wrong for every marque's version.
This is bothering the hell out of me. Anyone really knowledgeable about malaise-era shitboxes?

Case in point: Caprice cruisers and an aero (pre-98) Crown Victoria detective's car. In his Euro-oriented stuff you'll similarly find Volvos by the dozen.

A green AMC Pacer in front and what appears to be another red early aero Crown Vic behind it/in front of it (depending on how you say it).
Needless to say I fuckin' love this guy's art. He uses the same couple cars in a number of images, and if you sort 'em out in the right order they usually tell a story.
I searched for malaise mopar car, and found this car which is EXTREMELY close to what I'm looking for. Though I cant find any real life version of it
Anyway back to OP, the triple-segmented tail lights with the reverse in the inside is a very Chrysler thing, they used it a ton in that era, but I don't know shit about Chrysler and so can't find the exact car.

ay bb wan sum fuk

That's it! It's a Dodge Aries/Plymouth Reliant, the first of the ubiquitous K-Cars that pulled Chrysler out of its black hole of near-bankruptcy. Why didn't I think about them before?

Shit, dropped my image.

For being a Swedish (?) dude he sure loves drawing classical-with-a-twist 1990's America and its wonderful land barges.
MERCI
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction guys, here is the full concept btw
