My tumbler is already so worn I can pull the key out while it's running, and re-start it as long as I don't turn the key off completely. The tumbler will also over-rotate when starting sometimes, as in going a good quarter-turn over what it should.

Only things i have on my keyring aside from keys is a plastic wendys free frosty for a year keychain since they only had keychains and no cards and an old metal bottle opener that belong to my grandpa thats 30 years old or older. Also i only keep my dd keys on my keyring. The weekend cars have seperate rings.

I have a red Leatherman Micra on my DD's key. Not only is it useful for all kinds of stuff, the color is also nice for finding my keys when I set them down somewhere stupid. Weight isn't an issue because it's a proximity key.

I have nothing on my other car's key because it's an S2000 and the combination of low cylinder and non-adjustable column means that anything attached to the key swings around and smacks me in the knee constantly. I even unclip the remote fob when driving.

The tumbler is so worn in my car that the original keys barely hold themselves in the slot, but if I use the key from a Dodge (my car is not a Dodge) is actually fits better and you can't pull it out while it's running. It also open all of the doors and generally fits better all around.

I took my car key off my keyring and it's so much better. I wish I had done it sooner. It's much nicer not having dangling keys hitting the dash while driving. But my house/work keys have a little metal energizer flashlight on them that is super useful. Would recommend

Although I do think we should have already reached a point in auto development where you shouldn't need a key at all. Your smartphone can be your key. Even on 2017 and 2018 fancy Bimmers and Lexi this can't be done yet, and the fobs themselves are becoming larger and larger.

If my smartphone can replicate my credit card with all of my personal banking into then it ought to be able to let me operate my car without any dumb keys or fobs.

No never used the spray. The spray bottle hardly weighs anything.

I use it on my motorbike, and the spray bottle can be pulled off if I need to use it. The bottle is in a holder sleeve which is what attaches to the keychain.

I've recently seperated my house keys from my car keys.

anyone have recommendations for a beltloop clip/hook for my car keys.

I currently have one of these for my house keys.

I'm going for a brass/copper/leather theme for my house keys and a regular silver/gunmetal theme for my car keys since the car is of that color

also whats a nice lightweight strap/cord for my car keys to make it more easy to grab and find around the house.
