These guys are the cancer for the car society.
They will show you their 1L bottle filled with water and soap (that will last them for at least 3 hours) and their mop for windows and you just have to immediately shake your hand telling them to fuck off. They will instantly ask you for spare change and if you tell them to fuck off they'll go into the next car.
The problem, is if you are a teen, a women, or an elder person that looks vulnerable. They'll clean you windshield even if you refuse and then piss off if you don't give them a thing.
The other problem is if you are the only one at that traffic light, cause they don't have another car to ask for.
Never seen this live, but heard stories of people getting their car kicked, dented or even their window broken and some stuff stolen from their passenger side. And of course... go get them, they run in the opposite direction with traffic and head into the poorest area close there that will get your car dismantled the moment you hit those streets.
It sucks to be a poor country.

I understand this thread is about these window washers but I can't stand the fucking bums in seattle. I work for a private ambulance company downtown, if you live here you know what it is. We regularly make trips to the homeless shelters and transport the same people day after day for their daily meals at the hospitals. They commit fraud by using emergency services in a non-emergency but they don't have any money so the system doesn't bother going after them. I wish we could ban homeless help services downtown, that would eliminate 90% of the damn problem. Also I watched a nog break into someone's car right in front of me, turned my sirens on and spooked the fucker away. Had him on video too. Broke into a mint looking MR2 I wanted to run the cunt over.

A lot of the homeless are shipped here from other states. I was in the public library when two robust muscular blacks were talking to each other what to do. They came here from Greenville Prison where they were just released. Apparently, they took advantage of their former state willing to give a one way bus ticket to send released prisoners out of state. That way, they don't deal with recidivism AND with social service costs and social welfare costs.

One volunteer at a church run shelter told me that a lot of homeless people immigrate from out of state to Freeatle (Free Seattle) because it has so many services, low persecution, additional free social welfare benefits (taxpayer supported) beyond what the federal social welfare offers, and public officials willing to spend taxpayer dollars on the homeless. Free-attle indeed. It's not a good reputation to get because our area ends up trying to solve the rest of the country's problems when all those problem cases keep on immigrating to seattle.

Why should those other states deal with their mental health cases when they can bus them to washington?

Some seattle homeowners wake up to find homeless camping right on their porch because the side of the house plus the porch roof keeps them dry. I remember a seattle times article where a homeless person was camped on a homeowner's backyard stoop because that homeowner had no fence surrounding the backyard.

Some here are not though, they look healthy at least, they need to get off their asses and find some work, even if it's for a very low amount / hour

Where I work I see the same homeless guys sitting on the street day in day out, they don't move for shit and beg for money
even goes so far that they remember me and greet me with a smile every day when I walk by

The problem will not be fixable so as long as the USA has both:
a. Very leaky borders coupled with a lax legal immigration policy and very little punishment for immigration law breakers and their accomplices.
b. Sanctuary states/counties/cities and naturalized family members and employers that provide support for illegal immigrants until the next amnesty occurs.

While activists talk about illegal immigrants coming for jobs, what's they don't mention is the huge numbers that come for free medical care and to retire in the USA because they are penniless or have expensive chronic medical conditions. The top 5% of socialized medical patients utilize approximately 50% of the social welfare medical budget. A substantial number of that 5% are both legal and illegal immigrants. In the case of legal immigrants, they hid their pre-existing medical condition in order to improve their chances of passing evaluation as to why they are entering the country. This is also a big factor as to why many immigrant families support Obamacare for getting rid of the pre-existing conditions for free social welfare medical benefits without ever paying into the tax base. The republicans see these legal and budgetary problems but of course get attacked with the usual racist accusations. To many immigrants (especially illegal ones and their anchoring families), self entitlement means the source of free money is inexhaustible, therefore denial of amnesty and free social welfare can only be racism.
