How many of you guys have trouble with having an actual place to work on your car? I have a project car, but no where to actual work. I thought about renting a garage, but it's too damn expensive.
Pic related would be so nice

I got a 6 car garage with 2.5 cars in it.
Had this problem for the longest time
Rent for any garage in my city is beyond retarded, so I kept my project 3 hours away at a family members warehouse for an entire year
No progress made of course

Damn 3 hours away is way too far. But at least it's in storage, not sitting outside.

My car is in a carport at my parents' house on an island.
It gets as dusty as hell and there are leaves underneath, but at least it doesn't get rained on.
It takes me a year to complete a week-long project.
> visit my parents and take something off the car
> go home and order parts online
> try to put it on the car the next time I visit
> realize I need another bolt or something
> whoops guess I won't have it installed until the next time
My apartment has an underground parking, Not well lit and there's always break-ins. I hate working on basic shit down there.

I'm not poor so I own a house with a large garage.
OP, I worked for 5 years in my dad driveway, rain or shine.
I saved every penny I could and look what I bought two months ago....
I can leavemy car "mid-job" and continue the day after... i love it.

I still don't have enough space....

i have a project car in the garage that i need to do chassis work on, then i have another car on the driveway that ive been working on for a replacement daily driver. doing work on the uphill sucked a fat one, but now that the car is driving i can take it to a buddies house if i need to get flat ground access.

Why is a little girl posting on my /o/

Take it to Walmart and work in the parking lot

My dad has so many cars that he just purchased a fucking garage (lifts and indoor space for at least 5 cars outdoor space for a bunch more) to store them. It's closer to my house than his. I'm pretty hyped about it. No more changing oil on my fucking gravel driveway under a carport.
I used to live in an apartment and that is the shittiest place to try and work on your car. Nosy dickheads everywhere and property manager whose never turned a goddamn wrench assuming you're a retard who's about to drop the car on himself. Can't get a goddamn thing done.

That's just how he lures them to his garage
Thanks for reminding me of how good I have it with my detached 2-car garage.
