Gooood luck finding anything with a stick for 10g that doesn't have massive fender flares covering nothing and a swiss cheese frame. It's also going to be lifted 6 inched and thrashed to hell and back. The used truck market is pretty fucked now.

Ford Ranger. Get an FX4 Level 2. 4.0 V6, front mid and aft skid plates, 8.8 inch rear end with torsen limited slip diff (it can lock up completely also), extended cab, 4WD, comes stock with 31x10.5 inch tires on 15" aluminum wheels. Also has Billstein shock absorbers and stuffer torsion bars than other Rangers, and has a different interior. If you can find one, you should be able to get it under 10K. Some manual ones have a manual T case too.

Cummins is the diesel engine. Straight 6 is a 6 cylinder engine with a straight configuration. Pic related.

Also forgot to add, FX4 Level 2 Rangers are not the easiest thing in the world to find. You may need to look out of state. I am in Florida, got mine from New York, and had it shipped. And also the 2002 FX4 is the same thing as the FX4 Level 2 of previous years.
