Can someone explain to me why a '67 car costs so much?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1967-Ford-Mustang-All-New-/172620956130
For example I found the same car with only 1700$

Are they trying to scam people?

> Why is a fully restored sports car, that is 50 years old in pristine condition. Being sold for so much?

Quick question, if i buy this one >>17056038 and I restore it myself. How much would it cost me to make it like >>17056028
>>17056049
There is a lot of factors that contributes to the pricing of a restored classic
> rarity, parts used, quality of worksmanship, finished condition, etc etc.

Does restored means that they changed everything in the car? If yes then it is a new car. it is not the same with the 1967 one. Then it shouldn't being sold as an antique. Meaning that it should be way cheaper

on average?
make it similar but not as good. around how much would it cost?
>>17056039
do you think i can find it way cheaper than this?
>>17056028
Its because original 427s are ultra rare and 6cyl stangs are really fucking common.

is it safe to use an old car?
>>17056080
They had 428's
>>17056080
do you think someone could use the '67 mustang for everyday activities or only buy it as an antique?
>>17056100
>he doesnt know about the 427 myth

That's entirely up to the owner and if the car is functional. Plenty of people fix up classic cars and use them as weekend cruisers.

427's were on the AC cars

if these

are replicas, why do they cost so much? they are fake
>>17056028
It is a very sought after car, and people want to protect its existence for as long as possible so they are willing to pay a large sum to own one. It's like a natural order keeping you from stancing, drag racing, and putting 100K miles on a piece of history.

It's not history it's an overpriced chopped up mustang fastback
Supply and demand.
