Nothing, it's a fine car.
Rear motor mounts used to be an issue, not sure if that's been fixed. Any bolt-on kits typically include replacement mounts though.

Have fun. I have a '15 Focus SE and its pretty enjoyable for what it is. Wish it was more fun, and I imagine the ST would fit that bill.
I say go for it.
The base car is like 17k and the interior reflects this reality. Otherwise, they're great and decently reliable. Mountune and Stratified are the best tuners.

You could buy a WRX for the same amount and have a slightly less fun but quicker car with better resale.
You could also pay less and get a pre-owned 5.0 Mustang GT or a new Fiesta ST

Nice cars, considered getting one before I decided to go with a WRX. I started with a RWD inline 6, learned stick on a FWD turbo 4, then decided I wanted to try owning an AWD flat 4 turbo.
