I got done by a mobile camera van in January. It's such a shitty feeling. The fucking thing was parked round a blind corner too. Absolute wankers.

>pay 51$ ticket because I wasn't going to take a day off work to drive 3.5 hours to the courthouse

ticket mandatory minimum would've been $500-$1000 + court fees + 4 points on license

I don't know what sort of head that lawyer gave to get me off with just court fees, but I salute you brother

Right. I've been clocked 20 over 60, $100 lawyer fee and I get let off, no further fees.

>tell the judge I have class on that day and can't attend. request a day later that week and I get it.

>when I get home I have a letter from the police department
>letter says officer is unavailable on that day and is requesting to move the date of trial
>officer filed 3 days before the trial

I think that spending a few hours at the courthouse is a lot better than an $800 ticket.

The cops in my country are so hit and miss
