The name Eclipse wasn't really a well-known (at least i don't think outside the US) and it didn't harbor the pedigree of the EVO. its disappointing that the thought of an Eclipse the way we remembered them coming back is a confirmed "no" now that they are using the name for something else entirely.

Sad but not the stab in the face making a famous sports car into a crossover would be.

Why are people mad that mitsubishi doesn't make sport cars anymore?

If people are more interested in suv/crossover or what ever and mitsubishi can make more money on that market why wouldn't they do it.

Why would the spend millions on designing a sport car if they don't make profit on it. Just buy a different brand that makes sport cars.
