Shit talking aside, they do have some known reliability problems that require expensive repairs. The top end of the engine has a lot extreme wear issues.

Handling is fantastic for a fwd car. Fairly light by modern standards.

If it were me, I'd probably be more drawn to other hot hatches first but I'd consider it.

Only worth it if it's the mini Cooper S with the supercharger and manual gearbox

Its probably one of the best hatchbacks on the market but I'd only lease one because after like 80 000 km they will burn and leak oil everywhere and the repair costs and parts are huge because of the small car, no aftermarket and complexity of the design. To do a clutch is like 8 hours at least of labour more like 12 depending on ghetto shop and the transaxle alone is $8000
