does the charger srt and taurus sho signal new beginnings for the American car industry?
are we back at the point where we are putting big engines into family cars to make them so fast that nothing can keep up with them?
So long as the economy is booming, yes.
They should start by making any of those cars fast

what's the point? you're not going to track those cars, so you'll never see their true potential without getting a ticket, losing your license, or going to jail.

The SHO has been a mainstay for a long while m8, it's not like there was a big return. Also, first car I ever drove and learned with was a 2001 SHO, was pretty damn sweet.
As long as the economy is doing well and fuel prices are low, yes. The Charger Hellcat is a perfect example of that.

Are you 12? the SHO's been around since the 80's. There have always been standard 4 door sedans that had hot engines and tarted up body panels to appeal to midlife crisis having middle aged men, nothing's changed.
They've been doing the Charger SRT-8 for over 10 years now.

>$45,000+ for a mildly powered v6 non-luxury sedan
I sure hope not.

Nope. Sedans are dead, Fred. It's all about the CUV now and Europe and Japan have all of the ones that anybody wants. Poors just settle for the American CUV's.

>you're not going to track those cars,
When people started putting very powerful engines into cars, they never thought of making it the no1 track queen. They just wanted to do it because they could.
