ITT: people who drive badass daily drivers, haters need not apply. Post your rides and you plans. Rome wasent built in a day and neither are quality cars. I worked 2 years to get to this point.
My 360hp/410tq vinyl wraped srt4 on 19psi. 17k into it. The most reliable srt4 in the area. During winter I'm throwing a 50trim turbo on it and going for 800hp/970tq on 23psi

I kind of welcome the hate. It keeps it interesting.

>>16982433
>this feels baity
I don't know if badass is the word but my car is a fantastic daily. I estimate its putting down ~310whp/270wtq now because it is running a 12.9s 1/4mi and its been replicated a bunch with similar mods on the forum. Never dyno'd though.

It has:
Takeda attack front mounted intake
Intake plenum spacer
2.5in Resonated test pipes
Larger 2.5in resonated Y-pipe
EcuTek 93 street tune

I replaced the stock suspension because it was gross and floaty so Tein coils fixed that. Otherwise everything else is stock because it's a daily, not a race car.

I'd like to see what /o/ projects are going on other than the trips that actually work on cars
>>
CLA45 AMG

It's not for everyone, but I love it dearly and wouldn't change a thing.
>>
>>16982583
I actually really like these
What is it's comfy level?
>>
>>16982585
Not very high. Less comfy than going with an E. Combination of the stiffer AMG suspension, and low profile tires make for a bumpy ride over shitty road. However, the shifting "BRRRRRRP" makes up for it.
>>
>>16982589
Yeah the CLA45 has a pretty amazing exhaust. I love pops and crackles in exhausts, make it sound very raw.

a friend has a similarly tuned one and its fast but feels fat and the torque steer is really uninspiring
>>
>>16986260
>I personally would have gone with the 911, but nothing wrong with an STI. What year is it?
Its a 2015. The 911 wasn't as fast in the straights as i thought it's be. Stock versus stock, the STI and 911 would be super close. After even a simple ecu reflash, an STI would bury one at a redlight.

The handling isn't even comparable though. With the 911s weight distribution and low center of gravity, i can say that porsches are definitely not overrated.
>>
>>16997118
The torque steer is kinda bonkers, it's not so bad now after the rear motor mount but just yesterday it almost caught me off guard when I accelerated harder than I meant out of a turn. It doesn't feel too fat, tho I came from a truck. It definitely doesn't feel like my 944 I had tho, not nearly as low or light. But decent, doesn't feel fat like a camry.

happens to pretty much all small to medium sized turbo 4s. they hit full boost/tq early and run out of air. need to slowly dial back boost as rpms climb as well to combat detonation on pump gas. only big turbo builds will keep climbing or at least hold torque enough to redline to have higher hp numbers.

I hope he's being ironic. The hate is what keeps me coming back to 4chan

Tool around everywhere in this guy. The fold down rear seats are super useful. Previously owned an MR2 and a Miata before I got this. Brought this and the Miata to a couple of meets before.

I have a 2015 GT-R, daily is a B7 S4. I've posted on here a couple of times, but for whatever reason the threads slowed down, trolls took over, and somehow I ended up bragging despite being asked for proof.

If an SRT4 is "badass" then my NA Z32 is too.

I just got hyperflex poly bushings for it, planning on an install next week when I have time. After that, I'm gonna try to get new wheels and tires for it, but I don't want to be spending too much on wheels because I find it ridiculous to be spending 2k on a set of new wheels when slightly curbed ones can be had for much less.
After that, I plan on upgrading the R/FUCAs as well as all the rods, and finally dropping powertrix coils in it.

Should be set up how I like it by the end of this year, as long as nothing pops up.

Twin turbo swap will come as a graduation gift, unless I decide on buying an AR-15 instead.

17-24 mpg

That is like twice what I would have guessed it got. Does it shift at like 1K or something?

Yeah the ISF. Memes aside, the catback had noticeably increased torque through the rev range and my tyres lose reaction a little more easy as the stock exhaust has a huge crimp to lower emissions. >>17001171
The 8 speeds shift like heaven. I would have purchased it in manual if it was available though.

Was the same deal with my exhaust.

The Y pipe squeezed down to 1.75in I think, right after the double cats. Upgraded to test pipes and this shit.

I'm currently installing Suntek clear bra film on my entire car. Shit is amazing, so easy to clean, virtually impossible to swirl, and goes on flatter than 99% of factory paint jobs.

I'd tell you if the bastard had an RPM meter. The 4.9 isn't the most powerful V8 on the planet, but it's not bad. Definitely better than the masochistic Northstar that came after it.
