Do those still use a cap and rotor? Can cause a crank but no start when corrosion and condensation get in there. My corolla did that after sitting overnight or after rainfall.

My $600 honda has only failed to start cuz of rust in one of the bolts to the starter. 20+ years and the bolt had the effect of cathodic protection on the rest of the starter it was the sacrificial piece some sandpaper later it was fine
