FF = front engine, front wheel drive
FR = front engine, rear wheel drive
MR = master race
tfw i have never driven an MR car
I have high expectations.
OP, there are multiple MR layouts, RMR where the engine is behind the driver, and FMR where it is in front of the driver. I prefer RMR because I use a forklift and golf cart a lot, so the handling characteristics are roughly the same between the two, which is nice, but it's really just preference as long as it's a true mid engine.

Only a problem if you're at 9/10 of the car's grip limit or higher
You have my attention, please explain more

Basically, cars for people who don't have kids, jobs, friends, or need a car for any practical purpose..
Only typical millennial types drive these things. They're basically the hipsters of the car world.

Why is there no MF drivetrain? Seems like it would be a pretty sweet deal.
>>16971567
It would have awful driving dynamics. Understeer up the ass. Also the main advantage of FF is economy. Engine in the rear and front drive would be expensive. It would be cheaper to just make it MR
>>16971567
Because taking weight of the wheels that provide both power and steering will fuck up the handling.
Weight will always go to the rear under acceleration, so if you move the engine back the rear will get loaded even more, leaving the front to struggle for any traction.
>>16971567
It would be to cars what Skrillex is to music.
>>16970313
MR=Massive Regret
>>16971567
convertable cars running on garbage can lids for wheels would have better handling than that.
MR, Rotary, etc. cars that were discontinued because they are based on failed technologies with stupid cult followings are for cucks.
They are to /o/ what furries are to /b/
