>wrecked and totaled my own car last week
>driving mom's grocery mobile 2000s American sedan land yacht she hardly ever drives
>now suddenly she wants her car back and me to go out get a new car
>tfw am suddenly starting to like cruising in the land yacht
>tell her I don't need a new car because I can drive hers to it falls apart, it already has 150k miles on it
>tfw no interest in getting a new car
Too much money on repairs, insurance, and maintenance when I can just rotate out my parents cars but they do not like that. I'm not 16 either.

I want an early 2000's yacht so bad but reliability and repairs will kill my modest salary

My mom's seems to run fine. I already put over 200 miles on it since last week and no problems. 150k miles too, I really just like it because it's American, 17 years old, and still on the road for right now.
I'd recommend a Buick Park Avenue Ultra. 240hp for $6,000 and bulletproof engine

Can confirm. I have a 99 riviera, 00 regal gse, and a 95 lesabre. Great vehicles every one

Most of them are pretty reliable and the parts are cheap

I'd say try and find a detective/supervisor P71. Exactly the same as a regular P71, minus the high idle hours, the abuse, and all the fucking holes
tfw been driving my mums car for about 3 months now.
If i could, i would have bought a new one already, it feels really really bad.
I'll be saving up for a big fucking christmass present and a cheap car for myself.

Why do you feel bad about driving your mom's car?
>>16959773
Because she babied the car and i know she has is emotionally attached to it but doesn't show it.
I need a vehicle of my own.

Are you implying 150,000+ miles means a car has to be salvaged?
