My friend (who's 18) is looking to get his first car, and is really into JDM. He wants to get my opinion on this car and thinks that I'm a JDM expert just cause I own an R34. But I don't know shit about anything that isn't Skylines. Anyways, he doesn't have a lot of money so he can't get cars that are like $6k and up. He also doesn't really care about power/functionality, just wants a car that works and is JDM.
What do you guys think about this car he found from a seller online?

Looks really beat up to me, though that might just be the seller's shitty camera or something.
Apparently these things usually go for $3-4k? At first I thought something was seriously wrong with the car for it to be priced at $2.5k but I didn't know how much they normally sell for.
